Difference in Libido in Young Boy to Old Senior

Libido, which is the term for sexual desire, is present in humans since the onset of puberty. Libido is the reason why people get attracted to the members of the opposite sex. A high level of libido is enough to ensure a happy and healthy life. Yet sadly, libido is never constant, and increasing age has an effect on the levels of libido present in your body.
Libido beginning - puberty
Libido first sets in when you reach puberty, when you first start witnessing and experiencing changes in your body. Your body suddenly sprouts hair all over, and facial hair also starts to appeal slowly. Puberty generally sets in at the age of 12 for boys, and then slowly the process of change continues till you reach 18 years of age. Similarly, libido sets in around the same time your puberty begins, and is grows very strong till the end of puberty, which is around 18 years.
Libido adulthood
At 18 years, libido is very strong in you when you are officially considered adult. This is the time when you feel the need to masturbate a lot and stimulate yourself. This is also the time when women suddenly acquire more importance in your eyes, even more so than when you were in your teens.
After the age of 18 years, libido remains very strong till around 25 years of age. You will feel the need to masturbate or have sex very keenly till this age, after which your sexual desire will start to decrease very gradually.
By the age of 35, you won’t feel the need to masturbate as much as you did when you were in your teens. This is caused because of the decrease in your libido levels. You will have fewer wet dreams than what you used to have, and you will no longer be attracted to girls as strongly as before.
Libido by elderly
By the time you are 50, a week without having sex will be no big deal. As you grow even older, your libido will continue to decrease till the day you pass on.
Yet, these are just statistics, and so provide an average, and you don’t necessarily have to be included in it. Libido never vanishes completely, as the production of testosterone, the hormone controlling sexual desire, does not ever stop. Libido can be influenced both positively and negatively by the external environment. Fatigue, stress, unhealthy lifestyle, excessive alcohol intake, smoking, diseases, and bad diet are some of the factors that really affect libido negatively and can cause erectile dysfunction.
Yet, with your positive efforts, you can continue enjoying a healthy libido till the age of 100 or beyond. Things like regular exercise, regular sex, healthy diet and control of alcohol and drug intakes will help your libido immensely, whatever your age.
Really, an old senior can feel the same amount of desire a young boy does, with little difference. If you want, you are capable of maintaining a high level of libido, whatever your age is.
