Male Pheromones

Evolutionary design has always had a goal in mind; continuation of the species. So, sex is not just a physical act of pleasure, but also is a means to an end. For the purpose of reproduction, man has been given many characteristics that will enable him to attract a member of the opposite sex.

The face, body structure, presence or absence of muscle, hair and other physical factors has an impact on how males are perceived by females. Yet, there are other factors that affect sexual attraction, and they are not so blatantly obvious. Pheromone is one such factor which has a big effect on sexual attraction. Male pheromones are similar to female pheromones, yet there are subtle differences between them.

male pheromones effectsPheromones are invisible, minute chemicals given of by the body. They possess no odor, and cannot be detected by smell. They are chemical signals which are received by the member of the opposite sex, which affect the receiver response. When a male gives out pheromones, they travel directly to the vemeronasal organ in the female, which is present in the nostril. Later, the male pheromones force a response in the female from a part in the brain that is connected with intense emotions and feelings. If you have ever wondered why women are so emotional, then pheromones make up a large part of the answer. The female libido is inextricably linked with their emotions. Male pheromones are targeted towards bringing out a psychological response in females.

Male pheromones contain information about the male’s genetic makeup of the immune system. The female brain then processes this information to find out whether the female’s immune system is compatible with the male. The male is compatible with the female if the code of their immune system is similar. Compatibility results in sexual attraction, whereas no compatibility means little or no attraction.

The primary places in which the male body emits pheromones are the armpits and the pubic region. There is large concentration of apocrine glands in the armpit, which has led to the armpit being called axillary organ. Women are attracted to bodily sweat from males because of this reason. Fresh sweat does not have any odor. Only when it bacteria begin to act on sweat does an odor come out. Yet, even if the female is attracted to the male, excessive pheromones are a dampener, and the attraction is reduced considerably.

Pheromones are like a layer of added sexual attraction. Pheromones are slowly being used in products for male performance enhancement as well as female libido enhancement, and have shown great results so far. They are available in the form of perfume sprays and oils. They are helpful in arousing women, as well as men, during sex. Sex lasts longer, and is more meaningful, with the help of these pheromones. Pheromone sprays also act better than normal perfume in attracting members of the opposite sex.

Research has yet to fully pin down the nature of pheromones. But as the nature of pheromones becomes clearer, the quality of pheromone products available will only get better and better.
